Sophie Placido

For as long as she can remember, Sophie has enjoyed telling stories. She loves painting pictures with her words, taking readers and listeners on a journey of discovery.

 

Sophie has a First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Sheffield, and whether it’s poetry, short stories, or her planned novel, she always has a writing project on the go.

A loving auntie to Mia, Jimmy, Enzo and Eva, she started writing children’s tales to share with them the pleasure of a good book.

Sophie published her first children’s book, The Happy Puppy, in August 2022.

​

When she’s not writing, Sophie is a Fractional CMO and freelance Marketing Strategist helping companies to drive growth and achieve their key business objectives.

Sophie lives in London with her husband, Marc.
